Easter lilies and hydrangeas are blooming. We got some more rain today, for about 15 minutes. Temperatures were in the low 80s most of the day because of cloud cover.
We walked Toby at Highlander Park before dinner. That’s where we saw this Queen Anne’s Lace, not yet in full bloom.

Toby spotted a black Labrador on his morning walk. The lab was 15 with gray highlights. I think it made his day to greet Toby.
The forecast called for rain mid-morning, so we drove the car to the causeway to walk. That way, we could make a hasty and safe retreat if it rained. Turns out, it didn’t rain until later. But since we had the car, we stopped at Publix on the way home and picked up large and heavy items that are difficult to manage on bike.

After napping a bit and reading in the afternoon, we took Toby to Highlander Park for a walk. Then we dropped by Dunedin Pet Supply to get Toby a bag of food. His next bag (#10) is free. We intended to get a Juan’s Mexican Grill burrito and split it, but they were closed for renovations, so we ordered a pizza from Jet’s.
John says it’s the Five Guys of pizza, meaning it’s really good, but not that healthy. The crust is thick and almost burnt (Detroit style). We ate the whole thing.
Last walk of the day, the egret mailbox has a gay flag to celebrate gay pride month. 🏳️🌈
I did a little more painting on the orange grove scene.
Toby is all tuckered out. He woke us up before 5:00 this morning.
