This is how it should look when you walk your dog: slack leash, dog walking by your side. I love Toby’s new harness! It’s a miracle. No training. It just works. Rabbitgoo is the name brand, and it was cheaper than his fancy “no pull” harness, that didn’t work. Life changing.
After lunch, we rode to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park. John kept riding to downtown while I stayed to exercise.
Dark clouds gathered to the north, but the radar said they were moving northward.

After exercising, I rode through town, past Stevenson Creek and to the outskirts of downtown Clearwater.
The skies were blue to the south.
When I turned to go home, the radar had warnings of lightning and rain in the area. The closer I got to home the darker the clouds. The rains began when I was two houses down from home. It didn’t rain long, but with the little bit we got overnight, it helped. There’s more forecasted. The rainy season begins.
This morning we rode our bikes to the causeway to walk. Then stopped by Publix to pick up a few items. The temperature was in the upper 70s with an 8 mph breeze. The afternoon high was 88, but the rain and clouds cooled things off.
Our first walk of the day begins at 5:30, but it’s a short one for Toby. His first long walk begins around 8:15.
In between his 5:30 walk and his 8:30 walk, he naps on the sofa beside me while I read the news and have cereal and coffee.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway, Publix, the outdoor gym at Weaver Park, and a ride through town to the edge of Clearwater
Miles walked: 8.1
Miles biked: 17.01
