We took Toby on an afternoon walk around the neighborhood, and when he got to the house with the invisible fence where there are usually two dogs out, he sat down and wouldn't budge. Last time we walked by, the owners were out and the dogs got to meet and play a bit. Today, they must have been inside. Toby was persistent though. He waited a long time before letting us move him along.
His new harness continues to amaze us. It just works, and I can't fully understand why. He's a totally different dog on walks now.
Fruit and vegetable bowl for lunch: cantaloupe, peach yogurt, beets, cucumbers, broccoli, red grapes, cottage cheese, cherries, and blueberries. Turkey and swiss on toast, not pictured.
Toby, holding a bone, waiting for the sun to come up so he can go on his long, morning walk.
John made crockpot chicken for dinner. He cooked it in Duke's Carolina Style BBQ sauce.

I finished the painting John asked for of the Florida orange groves.
We were tired from our active week, so we stuck close to home today. We took neighborhood walks. I washed and vacuumed the car this morning before it got hot.
