One minute you have the world in your paws . . .
. . . And the next, you don’t.
There are lots of wild parakeets in the neighborhood. We saw these and more on our early Toby walk.
We rode our bikes to the causeway to walk this morning. It was 79 degrees with 8-9 mph breezes.
There were beautiful clouds this morning.
But no rain.
After our walk, we rode south on the Pinellas Trail through downtown and to Stevenson Creek.
After a dog walk at Highlander Park (with our amazing new no-pull harness), a dog bath, and Chinese takeout, we rode out to Honeymoon Island as the sun was setting.
The new beach sand looks great. It’s hard to believe the water used to come up to these palm trees and that large sea grape tree in the background.
We’re happy to see they are extending the replenishment to North Beach, as you can see in the picture above.
It’s the same process we saw before. They make a dune far out; then they pump in the sand to fill in the pond, while pushing the water out.
This picture is from South Beach, BH#1.
John got this picture from the Pinellas Trail, looking towards Bayshore Drive, as they both pass over Curlew Creek.
Yours, truly, chasing the setting sun on Honeymoon Island.

Some play tennis in flip flops some ride bicycles in flip flops. Glad the new harness works. The beach project is VERY INTERESTING. IT WILL BE VERY ATTRACTIVE for the city in attracting more people. Oh no!!!!!
