Toby’s brain stimulation game arrived today. John explained the rules and showed him how it worked.
John loaded it with treats and Toby went to work.
Very methodically.
He opened the compartments.
Then Toby shifted the compartments to reveal more treats underneath.
After our morning Toby walk, we rode our bikes downtown and walked south on the Pinellas Trail and then over to Edgewater Park and back to downtown.
It was overcast all day. Rain began in the late afternoon. Our morning walk was a comfortable 79 degrees.
Toby got a new chew stick made of bamboo fibers and nylon.
Toby’s been active all day except when we were out walking this morning. He’s been pretty obnoxious this afternoon. He either needed more fetching or more napping or both.
He got his breakfast hand-fed to him this morning on his walk. That technique seemed to work well for easy leash walking.
Miles walked: 8.8
Miles biked: 6.35
Toby has been crazy today. We need to remember to put him in his crate for an occasional nap.
ReplyDeleteI could have gotten in the crate with Toby this rainy afternoon for a nap but like Toby I fought it all the way.
ReplyDeleteI worked on my driveway hill. It has been too hot lately. We have taken many small walks with Jeff. Raining now. Hope it doesn’t rain out my tennis game tomorrow morning.
