We took Toby to be weighed at the vet’s office today (56 lbs.) and to get more flea/tick and heart worm medicine. It’s the first time we’ve been allowed inside the office since the pandemic, with the one exception for Dee Dee’s last visit.
Toby was so scared because he’s had to go in without us up till now. But he did great and was happy to get out of there.
So we took him to the beach so he could romp around in the surf and sand.
There was a light sprinkle off and on all day. There were only three dogs at the dog beach.
He had a good time and tolerated the warm shower when we got home. I think he might actually enjoy the shower. He walks right in and stands pretty still.
This morning John and I walked the causeway even though there was a light sprinkle. The radar showed rain all around us, like a horseshoe. We could also see it on the horizon.
We cut our walk short when we heard thunder. In the picture above, I caught the last second of a dolphin coming up for air. We saw at least three.
There wasn’t much blue sky today, but the temperatures were nice, in the low 80s.
Toby got to play some brain games after dinner.
His graduation from beginner training is tomorrow.
Scattered and isolated thunderstorms are in the forecast for the next 9 days.
Miles walked: 10.4
Miles biked: 0

Send us some rain. My patio flora is showing the strain of no rain in spite that I water. Spent time today with closet exchange brought about b/c I needed heavier clothing for our trip. Enjoyed Toby update. Good luck tomorrow. Congratulation to the three of you.
