Monday

We made an early morning shopping trip in the car to Publix. When we got back, we put Toby in the car and drove to Weaver Park to walk downtown via Victoria Drive.

These birds were having a mandatory meeting. How do I know? The outcome is just a bunch of crap.

Olde Bay Cafe appears to be undergoing some sort of renovation.

Lane’s Lemonade on the trail.

I took a walk before lunch and sat on a park bench looking at the lake.

Today didn’t feel like a Monday because of the holiday and our unusual schedule.

I rode my bike to Weaver Park after lunch to exercise.

John ordered some silicone molds for making dog treats. He was so proud of his first batch. They are the perfect size. Unfortunately, Toby threw up his dinner and a few treats, so we’re not sure what the issue is. It could be something else he ate. John made them with flour and baby food.

We did some cleaning, initiated from Toby tracking muddy paw prints 🐾 after his backyard fetching.

John filled up the baby pool to clean Toby’s paws while I cleaned up the floor. John said Toby stuck his head under the water and was blowing bubbles.

We tried several places for takeout, but everyone was closed for the holiday. We returned home and ate one of our standby meals: tuna, peas, and mac n cheese.

Miles walked: 6
Miles biked: 5.82

  1. Forgot to ask last night. How did you meet up with Angelo? I enjoyed looking at his renovations. Funny re Toby blowing bubbles.
