Thursday

This gentleman kindly let us take a picture of his car this morning as we passed by on the causeway. We rode our bikes to the drawbridge when it was a chilly 72 degrees at 9:00 a.m. Then we walked until 10:30.

John got this picture from the tidal bridge. Those shimmers in the water are minnows. It’s good to see so many thriving after the Red Tide.

Our mailbox flowers are holding up, even though the leaves are a bit spotted.

On our 4:00 walk with Toby in the neighborhood, it was 84 degrees with 51% humidity. It felt more like 75 degrees.

We both worked hard on his commands inside and outside the house. Toby was pretty subdued this morning, but came alive after his dinner at 4:00. Somehow he found items to parade around the house. He’s decided he likes bitter apple or at least can tolerate it after it wears off in a few days. We may never have toilet paper where it belongs. We are exhausted. I think puppy daycare spoiled us yesterday. He likes to play a lot.

Miles walked: 11.5
Miles biked: 5.33
