The day began cold, in the mid-50s but quickly warmed up in time for our causeway walk, warm enough for shorts and t-shirt. The high was 73 degrees. According to the forecast, we will now be heading into a more typical weather pattern: lows in the 60s and highs in the mid to upper 70s. That means no more bundling in the morning.
We weren’t sure what this was about, some sort of photo shoot. John took the picture.
Navel oranges and fresh berries have been on sale the last several weeks. I don’t know about the berries, but Florida oranges are now in season.
We did a lot of walking today. Toby was pretty good. After his dinner he put on a little parade for us (cloth napkins). He also found some paper work on the counter to shred for us. It wasn’t important.
It’s been a slow day. I did some reading, but not much else, except for walking.
Last night we tried a new restaurant called Charley’s Cheese Steak on Main Street. It’s a chain, headquartered in Ohio. It was okay, but not as good as Delco’s not too far from them.
Tonight, we went back to New Bamboo and ordered home style bean curd and a side of vegetable low mein.
