Toby spent the morning at K9 Adventures. We got a good report when we picked him up: he’s “getting better” during nap time; he played with a brown lab, Jake, who is “10 times more energetic” than Toby; Toby asks to play first instead of pushing himself on the other dogs; he bows and if the other dog turns away, he moves on; he figures out who wants to play and then engages; they’ve never had to call him out for “overplaying.”
He’s doing much better at drop off and pick up, staying calm and sitting, just barely. He’s so excited he can hardly stand it.
He got dirty playing, so I see a bath in his future.
He crawled into his crate on his own to take a real nap because that’s where the sun was.
