Friday

After lunch, I rode my bike downtown to the marina. The Pinellas Trail was busy. It was sunny and 73 degrees.

I continued on the trail to Stevenson Creek.

We drove to the causeway to walk this morning. The temperature was in the upper 50s at the beginning and lower 60s when we finished.

Beautiful blue skies

We went to a neighborhood Christmas party tonight, met lots of new people. Everyone recognized us because of our walking. It was good to talk with people we had met before.

We tried on several different outfits before we settled on the right one. We ended up with long pants and long sleeves and flip flops. It’s the first time we’ve worn long pants, not counting our track suits for early morning walking.

We walked to the party. I forgot to get pictures at the party, but I got pictures of the upside down chandeliers on the way out.

Bob and Becky’s house

Florida set a record for Covid-19 infections today. Everyone at the party had at least two vaccinations. The hosts had the doors open and the large screened in lanai helped keep people dispersed.

Toby spent his evening in his crate.

Today’s bike route downtown and to Stevenson Creek

Miles walked: 11.9
Miles biked: 11.15
