We walked Toby in the neighborhood this morning and then took him to K9 Adventures. The high temperature today was 77 degrees with lots of clouds for most of the day. The sun did come out later in the afternoon.
John and I headed to the causeway to walk. About half way through the walk, K9 Adventures called and said Toby’s foot was bleeding and they had to place him in a private room to attend to the bleeding. We thought it was the same wound that was bleeding a couple of days ago, so we weren’t too alarmed.
We finished our walk and went directly to pick him up, because what good is playtime if you can’t play? They were really nice and didn’t charge us for the short visit. The attendant showed us the source of the blood and it was not the wound we knew about but a small skin tag next to a nail on the same foot.
So we made an appointment with the vet for tomorrow and he’ll be able to look at both skin anomalies.
Toby isn’t bothered by either wound. He walked his normal walks today. We did cancel his Friday daycare because he will need some time to heal, regardless of what the vet does.
