We delayed our causeway walk and took Toby to the vet first thing this morning.
The vet thought that he may have stepped on something, and if it was a skin tag it was too small to remove. He thought Toby was ready to return to daycare on Friday. We called K9 Adventures and they let us re-book. So we are going to keep an eye on it and apply bactine.
Toby had lost a few pounds, which is good. He’s at 55 pounds.
Toby was very shy in the vet’s office. He hid under a chair in the corner. When the vet stepped forward to get him, Toby released a subdued growl. He was scared but didn’t want to sound too threatening. Once the vet and technician hoisted him up on the examination table, Toby was fine. He held still while the vet poked and prodded his foot.
We headed to the causeway to walk after dropping Toby off at home.
The temperature was in the low 70s and the wind was blowing at 11 mph.
The temperature got up to 80 degrees. I sat in our Adirondack chairs enjoying the warmth when this great white egret came strutting by.
We’re getting ready to watch a Netflix series called “In the Dark.” It’s about a blind woman and that’s all I know.
