We dropped Toby off at daycare and headed to the causeway with temperatures in the lower 60s.
The ripple in the water is from the tail of a dolphin. I heard it breathing as I crossed the drawbridge, but I was not fast enough to get a good picture.
Toby’s daycare report when we picked him up was that he played with “Blue, a hound that is as goofy as Toby.” That made us laugh because we think Toby is goofy. He’s shaped like a jelly roll and is a bit clumsy but very playful.
I like this picture of a hound they have in the lobby. He looks a bit like Toby, except Toby’s ears are different.
He’s slept most of the afternoon and evening. No games tonight.

We’re watching “Voltaire High” on Amazon Prime. It’s about a French high school in 1963. It’s a male school that is taking on its first female students. It’s appalling how sexist the 1960s were and how difficult it was for girls to get an equal education.
