On our last walk of the day, John spotted this beautiful roseate spoonbill at the edge of Lake Saundra. I walked down to take a picture and it took off, but I was ready!
I got the bird in full flight, flying across the lake.
Such a beautiful bird!
It was a beautiful 72 degrees this afternoon after a chilly morning walk (52 degrees).
We made it out to the causeway this morning. It was great to be back. Missing yesterday threw the whole day off. We joke that walking the causeway is our job in retirement.
Short sleeves for me!
Hoodie for John!
John took this picture of a bunny in our back yard. Beautiful coat.
Frog legged Toby playing with his dinosaur
Flowers around the mailbox
John made spaghetti for dinner. I’ve been craving it.
Toby’s had a relaxing day at home.
We’re going to watch some more of “Teachers” on Amazon Prime. The first episode was good. The main character is a 26 year old male who is immature, sex-obsessed, with unorthodox teaching strategies. The dialogue is funny and there’s the potential for the main character to grow.
Miles walked: 13.2
