My view from the incline bench at the Weaver Park outdoor gym. After lunch, I rode my bike to gently workout. The high temperature today was 81 degrees.
So far, so good. I’m used to pushing myself, and now I have to really work at not pushing myself.
We had fruit bowls for lunch with yogurt, cottage cheese, and a boiled egg for protein.
We’re trying to give Toby the proper amount of exercise and rest for his class this afternoon. We want him tired, but not exhausted.
The oak trees across the street are shedding their leaves, and they drift over into our yard. Last year, I raked them out once.
Our causeway walk this morning was nice: 66 degrees and a light breeze. This fisherman ended up losing what he had on the line. Score one for the fish.
So hard to get good selfies when one person is 6’4” and the other is 5’7”.
Today’s bike ride to Weaver Park
Toby did great at training today. He was focused and relatively calm. We’ve decided we will be repeating this course. Toby’s not ready for the Canine Good Citizenship test, which is what is next. Even the trainer’s dog took it twice.
Miles walked: 13.5
Miles biked: 5.43
