Saturday

This is the smoked chicken we brought home from last night. I skinned it and cut all of the meat off the bone.

We haven’t left the neighborhood today. Even though the temperature got up to 65, it has been overcast and chilly. These azaleas don’t seem to mind.

We stopped at a neighbor’s house to look at their new pool and driveway. It took a year and a half to finish the pool, one thing after another. It turned out beautifully. They have a propane tank to heat it, still waiting on parts. Currently, the pool is 62 degrees.

We dragged out Toby’s toy hamper and let him have a go at the contents.

He’s had a lot of energy being couped up all day.

Kind of like Christmas

It’s hard for him to choose just one toy.

Morning snuggle time lasted all morning.

John got this shot on our last walk of the day. The city is replacing water pipes in three locations in our neighborhood, causing quite a bit of disruption for some.

We had enchiladas from Con Sabor for dinner, takeout of course. It’s located in the Dunedin Plaza where Julian’s Little Italy is located, and Beal’s Outlet.
