Sunday

First walk of the morning, it was 39 degrees. I wore long johns. We made it a short, one mile walk. I thought we were done with winter wear!

All bundled up!

It warmed up to 60 degrees for our after lunch walk.

I’m hoping that this will be our last cold day. If so, that means we had 9 days where the high temperature for the day never reached 60 degrees. Last year there were 12, but it seemed this year was worse, maybe because the cold days were bunched together at the end of January and the beginning of February.

After walking Toby, we drove to the causeway to do our normal walk. It was 62 degrees with 10 mph breezes.

By the time we picked up our Chinese takeout, the temperature had risen to 66 degrees. John noticed these baubles in the back window of the truck in front of us. There was an old man (our age) driving.

Miles walked: 11.1
Miles biked: 0
