Friday

After lunch, the three of us rode downtown in the golf cart. It was partly cloudy and 83 degrees with a decent breeze. It’s always shaded under a golf cart.

We walked about in the downtown neighborhood. We found this very interesting tree with all sorts of things attached to it: bicycle, iron, pans, saws, lights, baskets, men’s shoes, colander, measuring cup, etc.

Ava, the autonomous people mover, is back. This time its route is from the library to Nature’s Patch on Douglas. Free!

The Friday Farmer’s Market provided us a good training opportunity.

On our trip downtown and back, Toby rode in the floorboard instead of the seat. I think everyone had more room.

I’m getting more comfortable not holding on so tightly as he adjusts to traveling in the cart. I prop my leg on the dash to use as a gate.

Earlier today there were fewer clouds.

It was 73 degrees with a 11 mph breeze on our causeway walk this morning.

The breeze was coming out of the east, so the walk back and bike ride back were challenging.

It finally rained this afternoon. I thinks it’s been over a month since it rained.

This is the dry season in this area.

Sweet Toby

We’re watching “Heartstopper” on Netflix.

Miles walked: 8.5
