Our frangipani blooms
We didn't see much wind in the forecast, so we headed downtown on our bikes to walk along Edgewater Drive. We parked at Main and the Pinellas Trail. The skies were overcast. The temperature was in the upper seventies.
We stopped at the marina for a break.
St. Joseph's Sound
Clearwater Beach
We walked all the way to Sunset Point in Clearwater. We got to see the progress on the waterfront condominium on Edgewater Drive.
We followed Sunset Point to the Pinellas Trail and walked down to Stevenson Creek. You can see the backside of the condo construction from the bridge.
Stevenson Creek, looking east.
From there, we walked back downtown on the trail.
There was lots of shade. Walking was much easier today than it has been. At one point today, it was 77 degrees.
We walked around downtown.
There was live music in the gazebo.
The farmer's market and street fair were beside the train station.
Beautiful produce
The temperature was so pleasant, we walked around the neighborhood with and without Toby. Before dinner, we drove the go cart to Stirling Park and walked to Publix to pick up some fruit and bread. It's a two-mile round trip walk.
John has decorated our cart for the holiday.
Last walk of the day
My sister sent me this. So true!
Toby flopped over on John while he was checking the radar. We had rain storms all around us, but never got a drop all day long.
Miles walked: 13.6
Miles biked: 6.96
