Sunday

The weather forecast called for showers after lunch, so after our Toby walk, we rode our bikes downtown to walk. We walked along Edgewater Drive overlooking St. Joseph's Sound until we got to the new condo construction in Clearwater.

The east sidewalk was nicely shaded. It was 74 degrees as we started out.

Clearwater Beach in the distance

I saw this pretty flower on the walk from the Sound to the Pinellas Trail.

On the way back, I stopped to exercise at Weaver Park while John rode on home. Last night's rain and the clouds kept the temperature down to 86 degrees today.

I set up my camera to take a selfie on a timer, while my phone was in its holster on my bike, pointed at the bars.

It never rained this afternoon, as forecast, but I was glad to fit in the gym before lunch. After lunch, we took Toby on a neighborhood walk. I spotted three baby turtles about the size of a quarter crawling along the gutter of Palm Boulevard. John picked them up and took them to Lake Saundra. They were clearly headed in the wrong direction.

Toby was probably a little bored today. We’ve just walked in the neighborhood.

Yesterday, he had a big day. Last night, he couldn't stay up any longer while we finished watching “Persuasion.”
