After an absence of several days, we made it back to the causeway this morning to walk. We rode our bikes and parked them at the drawbridge where John spotted this classic VW van.
We got to see some man's yacht getting towed back to port.
The temperature was in the mid 80s, and the wind was blowing at 6 mph, keeping us cool enough once we ducked our heads under the outdoor shower at the half-way point.
The tide was high this morning, so the sandbars were submerged.
We turned around at the Honeymoon Island park entrance. We love the new sidewalk.
There were lots of pretty clouds and blue sky today, although a brief shower passed through in the middle of the afternoon.
We took Toby in the go cart to Lake Saundra for a walk after lunch. The temperature got up to 90 degrees again today.
He enjoyed lazing about in the cool grass.
For dinner, the three of us rode the go cart to the Dunedin Country Club for "buy one burger, get one for $1."
Toby never took his eyes off the door that John disappeared into. A woman walked over from the St. Andrews condominiums and said, "What a sweet dog." And he was. He was clipped in by his harness, but I wasn't holding onto him. He was a perfect gentleman.
Look at his intense focus. I couldn’t get him to look away from the door.
Great burger and fries, one of the best in town.
Miles walked: 8.6
Miles biked: 5.24

I’m envious. The burger reminds me of the good times we had on each visit. Toby looks the perfect gentleman. Your patience and hard work is paying off.
