Toby is taking his midday sun bath at the sliding glass door. Eventually, he gets up to seek shade.
Snuggling with Toby
All the sudden, the weather is like what we experienced mid-February through mid-May. Absolutely gorgeous! The humidity was 57%. It's so nice to walk when it's not blazing hot. This summer, I would often go through 3-4 sets of clothes and a couple of showers a day. Each set of clothes was good for one walk or ride.

John and I rode downtown today where he met a friend for coffee. I kept riding all the way to Clearwater. The picture above is the Pinellas Trail over Stevenson Creek. I rode on to Weaver park and did some stretching and light weight lifting for the first time in six weeks. My shoulder felt good. I'll continue to take it easy this week, unless I feel pain, and then I'll stop and go back on the recovery plan for a longer period of time.
Downtown was hopping. Live music in several places. Lots of people. A neighbor speculated that the Tampa/St. Petersburg area is likely to see more tourism until southwest Florida recovers, which could take years.
We walked Toby several times today. He's on Benadryl twice a day to keep his bumps from reappearing.
We walked the causeway this morning when it was 65-72 degrees, almost cold enough for long sleeves. John wore a wind breaker, but he took it off at the half way turn around. I wore long sleeves for the bike ride.
There were lots of people out on the water today.
We spotted this 6-person racing boat. I think it's called a racing shell.
Today's bike routes to the causeway, downtown, and Alt. 19 in Clearwater
Miles walked: 10.5
Miles biked: 17.33
