Tuesday

We saw 5 manatees swimming under the tidal bridge this morning on our causeway walk.

It’s the most we’ve ever seen at one time.

We had to take pictures fast before they went under the bridge.

They were huge!

After our Toby walk this morning, we drove the car to Publix and then walked the causeway. When we finished, we had the car available to do heavy grocery shopping.

The high temperature today was 77 degrees. Our walk was in the mid 60s-70 degrees. It was so pleasant, we wore the same clothes all day.

Toby joined me for morning coffee time.

Today was trash, recycling, and yard waste day. Because of the hurricane, there was more stuff to collect than usual. We were informed via email that it was going to be a tough day for the workers. They got the last bit of debris around 5:00 pm. Every house had some debris. In the photo above, Toby is watching us gather up bins.

Miles walked: 12.6
Miles biked: 5.25
