Friday

I made it to Weaver Park after lunch to exercise. It was 79 degrees. We’re looking forward to eating leftovers tonight. I got a request for Helen’s dressing recipe today.

We did a lot of walking today.

You can barely see our lighted Christmas tree in the window.

Here’s another shot after dark.

We rode our bikes to the causeway and walked this morning. It was nice to get some exercise after eating all that food.

It was foggy and 72 when we began and 75 and partly sunny when we finished our walk.

John took a picture of me taking the picture.

Cloudy but comfortable

Not much breeze but lots of sailboats were out.

On my bike ride downtown, I stopped and talked to the guy who told us about the Clearwater, Sand Key, Belleair, Pinellas Trail bike route. I told him we’ve done it twice now, the first time with my sister (on a manual bike) who hadn’t biked in months. He said, “You must not like your sister.” He has had double knee replacements and rides a $5,000 electric bike. He said he took his sister on the same route and she turned around before they even got to Clearwater. He said it takes him 3 hours round trip. Pam did it in 3 hours and 29 seconds!

Last walk of the day

Medicated shower time

The 10-day forecast is looking awesome. Only one night under 60 degrees. No day over 80.

Today’s bike routes to the causeway, Weaver Park, and downtown

Miles walked: 11.5
Miles biked: 11.87
