Monday

After we walked Toby and wiped him clean of pollen, we rode our bikes out to the causeway to walk.

The temperature was 73 degrees, and the wind was blowing at 12 mph from the northeast, so we had a breeze in both directions.

Pretty skies

This paddle boarder stood out.

This kayaker was well disguised in his blue and green kayak.

After lunch, we took Toby for a go cart ride to Highlander Park. Then John and I rode our bikes to Clearwater.

John dropped me off at the outdoor gym at Weaver Park. I exercised for about an hour. It was 83 degrees.

I gave myself a haircut yesterday. John says it's my best work yet.

A neighbor called me while I was biking home saying she baked a pie for us to test. As soon as I got home, I picked it up. She even cut out little hearts on top of the crust.

We had a big lunch, and since it was dinner time, we decided to have a piece of pie for dinner with a dollop of vanilla yogurt on top.

And then, one piece led to another and before we knew it, we had eaten the entire pie! We texted our neighbor that the experiment was a success. She didn't need to change a thing!

John said, "It's kind of like eating a fruit bowl for dinner." Right.

Last walk of the day.

We ordered sunroom furniture yesterday. Seagrass love seat and chair instead of wicker.
These are all screen shots from my phone, so if you click on the image to get a better view, the back arrow in the image won't work to get you back to this blog (It's just a picture). You'll need to scroll down and your back arrow will appear.

The cushions will be greenish blue Sunbrella fabric.
Due to arrive mid-December. Pam helped us figure out what pieces would work and what fabric would go in our house. We are excited to finally make some progress. We will more than likely delay the kitchen project for a few months, but Pam said she would help us make choices when the time comes.

Toby got a medicated shampoo. It feels like we are barely staying ahead of his outbreaks. One thing's for sure: he's the cleanest dog in the land.

Miles walked: 8.6
Miles biked: 17.2

  1. I felt like I was right there with you today except for the pie meal. I can’t believe you guys ate the whole thing. I have been eating more fruit with cottage cheese since I got home. Drinking more water also.

Played tennis this morning, Cap 10 this afternoon . Picked up a couple of library books and trying to stay awake to read.
