We rode our bikes to the causeway to walk this morning around 8:30. The temperature was 73 degrees.
The skies were beautiful. The drawbridge gave us time to look around.
For lunch, we headed to Juan's Mexican Grill in the car. We've decided that the burritos are too large to eat for dinner. We go to bed with a full stomach, but not in a good way. If we eat them for lunch, we have time to digest them properly.
After lunch, I rode my bike to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park. It was 75 degrees with a light breeze.
After the gym, I rode my bike down to Stevenson Creek. The wind speed was 0 mph.
When I got home, we took Toby to Highlander Park for a walk. The Celtic Festival is at Highlander Park this weekend. Last weekend was the Dog Festival at Highlander. Hundreds of booths with everything for your dog, including rescue dogs, puppies, and cats.
Today, it was quiet and peaceful at Highlander.
Toby continues to do well, but he did have one rough place that he had bitten, so we gave him a medicated shampoo and some Benadryl to try and stay ahead of any breakout. When we told him he had to take a shower, he walked himself into the shower stall and waited for me to join him. He knows the routine, and resistance is futile. The relatively cool weather this week should help. After Wednesday, we are supposed to have 5 days with highs in the 60s. That's winter weather for us.

ReplyDeleteI played tennis in the morning and it was 41 degrees. So cold and dark early. I do not like winter. The day flew by and I didn’t get everything done on my to do list. I am hosting a brunch for one of my tennis teams and am feeling the stress of getting my house and yard in order and decorated. I have not decorated in about 5 years.
