This is our version of a spin class. I had to swing my body to cue Toby to spin without using words. The trainer enjoyed watching me try to get him to spin.
He finally did it with me using the card above his head in a circular motion.
We like this class. It puts more emphasis on Toby making choices and less on our training skills. Our trainer keeps telling us it’s about having fun with your dog and bonding and using the commands he’s already learned from his previous classes.
Judy and Buffy give it their all every week. This woman is so dedicated and a hoot to watch. She doesn’t drive. She takes an Uber wherever she goes.
Toby did pretty well. He “got” Laverne the dinosaur and “Candi” the candy corn, learning the names of each.
He was very tired from his mental and physical workout.
We rode our bikes to the causeway this morning. It was 67 degrees. We saw that it was 37 in North Carolina and didn’t complain about the chilly bike ride.
It was an overcast day, but comfortable. The high was 75 degrees.
I finally finished the puzzle! (Except for the piece Toby ate!)
We each had a single serving apple pie for dessert from the neighbors, with Greek yogurt on top.
Tomorrow, we start making our contributions for the thanksgiving meal with neighbors: we’ll make a sweet potato pie and Helen and Rosemary’s dressing.
Tonight, we’ll probably watch some more of the Norwegian show on Netflix about a young woman trying to find a suitable mate.

I had moh’s surgery today which was not fun. I am down and out for two weeks while the incision heals. I have been binge watching The Crown today. Jeff took most of the groceries to LKN and I will have to bark orders while elevating my leg. Not how I wanted to spend Thanksgiving but I am grateful that he got it all the first time. And I loved him. He was very funny!
ReplyDeleteJust read about Pam’s Mohs. Zikes. Didn’t know this was scheduled. Off her feet is very important. Glad I have the collards, dressing, birthday cake done. Enjoyed your update on Toby. Where are you going for Thanksgiving? Love you.
ReplyDeleteI like the image of Pam on the sofa barking orders.
ReplyDeleteWe’ll be at the neighbors for Thanksgiving with another couple.
