We practiced company knocking on the door with Toby. These are screenshots from the video. John knocked on the door from outside. Toby went to the door as he normally would all excited.
Then I gave the command “Go to your bed.” And he did! Eventually, he will do it on his own and the bed will be further away from the door.
We practiced his reading skills: sit, down, spin. This time we mixed the order up to make sure he was actually reading. He misread only a couple of times as I cycled through the cards.
We worked on his colors. He adds a spin now before he chooses.
We worked on choosing from three toys by name. He’s good at that one.
We practiced ringing the bell. He’s really good at this one.
We had today off from Petsmart, so we practiced at home.
It was 49 degrees on our early walk. We had on all the layers available. But by lunch, the temperatures were in the 70s and the sun was shining. I rode my bike to the gym and had a good workout.
The day has flown by. We did car grocery shopping and took several walks.
We finished watching Smiley on Netflix. Spoiler alert: The snobby architect finally ended up with the hunky bartender after trying to make relationships work with guys who were similar to themselves. Turns out, opposites attract. Great subplots. Sweet and romantic.
Miles walked: 6.2
Miles biked: 5.38
