John got this picture on our after lunch walk with Toby. We took him in the go cart to Stirling Park.
Our morning walk on the causeway was lovely. We rode our bikes in 67 degree weather.
It was very foggy when we first got there.
Visibility was very low.
iPhones hate taking bad pictures, but this one shows how thick the fog was.
In the distance is fog; close up is clear.
We decided to have lunch at the Covered Bridge on the way home.
We were famished and couldn’t resist the coffee it smelled so good.
Against our better judgment, we succumbed to a double burger and fries. After eating smoothies and oatmeal for many meals this week, we had grown weak. Huge burger. We felt bloated afterwards. John said next time we will know to edit (i.e., single burger, shared fries, no coffee).
We headed to Stirling Park with Toby for a much needed walk.
John got this great picture of a raccoon squirrel.
It warmed up to 73 degrees, so I headed to Weaver Park to exercise.
That huge burger was a great motivator. I had the best workout in a long time.
But that wasn’t enough. I biked down to Stevenson Creek in Clearwater trying to burn off some burger excess. We had vegetable and fruit smoothies for dinner.
I downloaded the Walgreen’s app and experimented with our first set of prints. I deleted the app four times until I figured out how it worked. It was a little challenging selecting photos. The app will only access photos, not file folders where I had carefully curated our favorites. So I had to go through them again. Maybe I’ll learn an easier way. I’m just glad I was doing it at home and not in the store. After I ordered them, I got a notice they were ready for pickup within a few minutes. One I hated; one of Toby is oriented the wrong way, but we’ll use it somewhere else, not with our project.
After I got back from Walgreens, we walked Toby down the street. When we got back, our frames had arrived. John ordered them today!
So, this is our first experiment. More to come. The duck is a picture John took today, if you were paying attention to the pictures in the blog today. John said that duck is still swimming around in the pond and his picture is in our house.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway, Weaver Park, and Stevenson Creek
Miles walked: 11.1
Miles biked: 15.88

It looks like You were sitting at the same table Mom and l sat for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the new framed art. I finally ordered a frame for Camersob portrait of me. I love it.
Is Camersob one of the framed pieces? The process sounds hard to figure out. Agree with Pam/table at The Covered Bridge. Had my last birthday celebration with Louise and Cathy today. I invited them back to the house for cake/coffee. They seemed to have enjoyed the invitation. I am blessed with so many friends.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Cameron’s portrait!
