Sunday

We enjoyed a 70 degree walk this morning on the causeway after a quick bike ride from home. The wind was blowing at 10-12 mph, hence the wind breaker. Our internal comfort temperatures are not the same.

After lunch, it warmed up to 76 degrees, which is awesome for any month, but especially fortunate for January. January is typically the worst month down here; however, the snowbirds will have their windows open and walk around in shorts, talking about what they perceive to be great weather. They run back home beginning in March trying to beat the heat. That always amazes me because March is my favorite month down here.

We took Toby’s go cart to Highlander Park and walked west to Harvard, south to the shell path, east to the Patricia Street golf cart bridge, and north back to Highlander and the community center.

Late afternoon walk

I ordered 10 more pictures for our art project, and John ordered 5 more frames. We might not frame them all. It might be nice to swap them out occasionally for variety. This is one of the new pictures. We had one leftover frame.

Here’s what we have so far. We’re not sure where to hang them. The largest wall we have is in the bedroom, and there’s nothing on it and no furniture against it. Anybody have any ideas?

Miles walked: 11.2
Miles biked: 5.03

  1. Pam arranged 3 prints for us which is perfect. Amazed at the sun and glare in today’s photos. We had rain, damp, cold weather here today. 😂
