We dropped Toby off at Dogtopia this morning and headed to Home Goods, Ross, TJMax, and At Home. After a consultation with Pam (and Jeff also weighed in), we decided on this dresser from A Missing Piece.
It has six drawers and lots of flat space on top, and we think it complements the glam chest and maintains a modern look.
We found this mirrored bedside table at Home Goods on clearance.
It has a top drawer. The bottom two drawers are fake; they are a door that swings open for storage. More storage and flat space.
Mirrors on the sides also and on top. We are happy with our purchases and very much appreciate Pam’s design experience and help.
We found this artwork from my nephew, Cameron, while we were culling out closets.
We decided to hang it here, just as you walk into the house from the laundry room and garage. We talked about wanting to have meaningful pieces and as many original pieces of art as we could.
This senior awareness fair with over 50 local vendors looks interesting. Free and includes lunch! Sponsored by Parks and Recreation, the busiest folks in Dunedin.
I took advantage of Toby being at daycare to clean our new furniture and hang this lamp. A simple project requires a dozen tools and lots of small bits and dust, all of which Toby likes to inspect. We bought this lamp for the Dollar Avenue sunroom, and when we moved to Blue Bottle, I used it at work in my office. It has been in one of our storage closets until now. I had placed it in the yard sale pile until I thought of this location.
The wall lamp gives us much needed accent lighting in addition to the garden lamp in the corner. It will make for a great reading lamp.
It has a pretty rod cord cover.
Nighttime cozy pictures.
Love, love, love!
We picked Toby up during rush our traffic, fed him dinner, and took him for a walk.
The weather forecast was wrong. It was not a winter day. The temperature got up to 63 degrees and the sun was out all day. The low tonight is supposed to be 45, so we’ll see what tomorrow brings. I need to get back to my closet/yard sale project.

I love love your purchases. Your house is lovely. Julie and I have commented so many times that as pretty as Gail’s house is, there is no real authentic art which we find boring and plain.
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding Cameron’s art to your home. Your art is the crowning touch.
I took the day off from tennis this morning. I am tired of playing in the freezing cold and it had rained all day yesterday and the courts might not have been playable. I will play tomorrow even though it is suppose to be 38 in the morning. Then we go to LKN to continue our work.
Love your house fluffing. A great job. Pam found a great flight option to Dunedin. We look forward to our visit. Ya’ll have really been busy. Today, I worked in my closet, clean the oven, laundry, gym and went to dinner with the Carmichaels. A nice day. Going to Carolina Pottery tomorrow with 3 other Mill Creek friends.
