Saturday

We just couldn’t pull the trigger on the yard sale: too much trouble, not the right kind of junk, and not wanting to commit the time. So we developed a plan to take the DVDs and donate them to the library. Then we’ll go from there.

We used our time instead to ride our bikes to Wall Springs Park.

The blue dot in the map above shows the location of the park.

John got this shot from the Coastal Trail dock looking back at the mangroves.

John caught this bird in flight over the water.

Coastal Trail overlook

The coastal trail is my favorite trail: woods and sound views.

The temperature was 72 degrees.

It was good to see clear water and live fish, no Red Tide here.

Clear water

Beautiful views and fresh air.

We saw Honeymoon Island across the sound.

Pinellas Trail bridge over Alt-19

I like my new Jacket sunscreen. It has a light citrus fragrance and it’s a bit oilier than Ulta, but it’s not bad. It doesn’t give you a white face like some sun block creams.

We stopped at Publix on the way home and got fresh fruit and salad for dinner.

John and Toby relaxing in the front yard before one of our walks.

We practiced crawl, round, weave while walking, wave, and bow off and on today.

The high temperature was only 74 degrees today.

We had a wonderful chicken salad for dinner.

Last walk of the day at Stirling Park via the golf cart

Miles walked: 7.5
Miles biked: 15.89
