Sunday

I rode my bike out to Honeymoon Island this morning after our early Toby walk. John stayed home and kept Toby company.

Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70s. The high for the day was 84 degrees.

There were lots of people out, even at 10:00 a.m.

I walked beyond the crowds and enjoyed some solitude.

We are both very grateful to be healthy and able to enjoy this beautiful place.

There was a nice 9 mph breeze blowing.

I got stopped by the drawbridge on the way home, but that just gave me a chance to be still and enjoy the view.

After lunch, we went to This open house. 2/2 1467 sq Ft, fully renovated, $629,800. I liked the flipper’s choices. The second bathroom and laundry were a little weird. The house is off Michigan Ave. (Fairway Circle), just on the other side of the golf course from us, near the community center.

Lots of large oak trees in front and back. The back yard is pie-shaped and huge.

We stopped by after walking Toby at Highlander Park, so we had to go in one at a time.

John sent me this collection of bird pictures from the last few days.

We made one last trip in the golf cart with Toby after dinner to Highlander Park. It was a bit too hot to walk in the neighborhood when Toby wanted to go.

John got a good picture of the art center. We want to come here for lunch again, maybe tomorrow?

Toby’s enjoying the golden hour before sunset.
