Our day started out with rain, gray clouds, and temperatures in the 50s. We were both reminded of North Carolina. Fortunately, I had my new Columbia rain jacket to wear on our morning Toby walk. This is the first opportunity I’ve had to wear it since I got it back in early February. It was perfect, not bulky or hot.
I thought the day was going to be a bust, but after lunch the sun came out and warmed things up. The high today was 69, and the mostly clear skies and mild breeze made it feel quite comfortable.
I even got motivated to ride my bike to the gym to exercise. I took my yoga mat for stretching and worked with weights.
This week is spring break, so all the kids are out of school. Many of them were at the gym squealing and banging the equipment. One 6 year old was counting to one million thirty thousand. I restrained myself.
Last walk of the day
Chilly, 65 degrees
We practiced our homework for Toby twice today. I think we’ll be ready for training tomorrow.
According to the news, there’s a huge mass of seaweed headed for Florida. It’s always something, right?
Toby just came up and asked to be covered with the blanket. He’s done for the day.
Miles walked: 7.5
Miles biked: 6.02

Love Toby/blanket saga. He is a trip. Your Columbia rain gear looks GREAT👏👏 Yes we are really having NC winter weather when everyone thought we were gonna have an early Spring. NOT HAPPENING. HAD LUNCH at Nantucket with 8 of my Yates friends. Lots of medical issues. AND they are only in 75 age category. BTW Pat Nicks Slone died this week. Cardiac condition for several years. Soooo sad.
