Finally, the weather is back to normal. We were able to walk the causeway in shorts and t-shirts; the temperature was 65 when we started and 71 when we finished. The high today was around 80 degrees.
We saw a pair of dolphins of the causeway, really close to land.
They were large, enjoying their breakfast.
I know they were fishing because they come to the surface frequently.
Above, is the sound outside of the gates to Honeymoon Island Park.
The water today was exceptionally clear.
It looks like a boat came this shallow water and cut a path through the weeds.
Thoroughly beautiful morning.
Late afternoon walk around Lake Saundra
Last walk of the day, walking into the sunset
It was a pleasant 73 degrees.
John got this beautiful picture of a mockingbird perched atop a bougainvillea.
Miles walked: 10.6
Miles biked: 4.90

Love the mockingbird pic and glad you had warmth. It was so freaking cold, we had our thermostat on 71. Neither of us could get warm but tomorrow promises to be warmer.
ReplyDeleteWe leave for Key West Monday so I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
I am having our house pressure washed tomorrow. I am waiting on a quote to have my front door and storm door painted, and woodwork in the house painted. It is time.
Slogging through the last remnants of the Carlow house, finding a spot for everything (sugar, spices, canned goods, condiments etc.
The kids and Steph are coming this weekend for a 40th birthday celebration for Cameron and I have a table set up for them to go through.
Cameron was recognized by the school superintendent and his colleagues for his work with students through his art classes. He was a paid speaker, hotel and expenses and he is on top of the world tonight. I am one proud mama. He always calls me on his birthday and wishes me a happy birthday because we did it together.
Stephanie is also doing so well and has expressed support and joy that Cameron’s stars are aligning.
Love the dolphin pics. They were really close.
That last photo needs you to paint it. The water and weather looks beautiful. As Pam said our weather has been cold and a very grey Wednesday. Glad you are in a warm place. Also good to hear Pam’s trip to Key West is coming up soon. Love to all. Mom
