We had a slow day today, spent most of the day inside. The skies were overcast with rain threatening after lunch. When it finally rained, it lasted for less than two minutes. The county is in a drought. The reclaimed water is being rationed on the north side of Curlew Road. So far, ours is working fine.
After searching online, we headed to At Home to look for placemats. It’s hard to judge color, thickness, and texture online, and we’re down to the small details where it matters. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find what we wanted. So I came home and ordered some neutral colored ones from Amazon.
There were a lot of color options for this room, but it would need to be exact. Perhaps we have enough color already.
We were both still tired from having company over the weekend.
Glad Tucker Carlson got let go at Fox. The country will be better off without his lies, racism, and homophobia. I doubt Fox will change though. They make too much money keeping people afraid and angry.
I am not sure that you need placements in your beautiful wooden table.

ReplyDeleteThat is why it is called shopping. Tee hee. However when shopping for a specific item it is always hard to find. Ya’ll made a safe decision. We had mulch delivered and spread today. Decided on a large nugget for a change. It creates more definition between mulch and grass.
ReplyDeleteDad has an appointment in the morning with the eye specialist. Latest on Jan. The man who put $ 20T down on Jan’s house died today. Don’t know more at this time. His last words was the move is on- he wants to recoup at Jan’s house on the golf course. So sad. I feel so sad for the couple and their dream. They both just retired and both are golf lovers. Stay tuned. We are going to Holden Beach with the Tennyson’s/Ashworth Thursday. The Wilson’s are hosting. Love to all.
