John’s brother from Daytona and his wife are spending a couple of nights here this weekend. She’ll be visiting a friend in Tarpon Springs, and Chris will be looking for a karaoke bar, a fishing pier, and a place to watch sunsets.
We spent the morning sprucing up the house. We got an African Mask plant for the table, using one of our ceramic pots from the garage.
We went to Ace Hardware and got a pot for the living room plant. I do not know the name of the plant. We got some saucers while we were there.
I suggested fresh flowers for the guest room.
We washed the car together. Then I power washed the house and got all the leaves up. I did some pruning.
We did some walking at Stirling Park.
And in the neighborhood.
It was a relaxing afternoon.

ReplyDeleteI did laundry this morning and dug up a fading Rosemary bush in the front porch pot. I bought a nice collection on the reduced rack for a replacement. ($5.00). I didn’t have time to repot but will try to do that tomorrow.
We had a long conversation with Al re his family issues. (Reason I didn’t get my new plant repotted)
Got my nails done this afternoon.
Found a garden flag for the front stake. Needed one with bees on it to coordinate with my doormat/pillow.
We met Gladys and Jerry for dinner at 2 Twelve tonight.
My Mohs surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
