It was warm enough to bike to the causeway to walk this morning. My cyclemeter app said that I biked one time in January for seven miles. That's how cold and distracted we've been by the kitchen renovation project.
It was nice to see some of the regulars on our morning walk.
After lunch, I took my bike and yoga mat to Weaver Park to do some stretching exercises and lift some weights.
Afterwards, I rode downtown to see the Mardi Gras festivities. It was crazy crowded.
People and bikes everywhere.
It was great to be outside.
We tried another quinoa recipe. We had a few baby spinach leaves left over, so we added those. This one has no meat or cheese, but it was really good, the kind of meal where each bite gets better and better. It was simple and easy to prepare, all in one skillet. Smells great, too.
