Green tea with freshly grated ginger. Zing!
We took the golf cart to Stirling Park this morning and jogged to Weaver Park. On the way back, we cut through Hammock Park.
We walked in Hammock along Cedar Creek, which flows under the Pinellas Trail and into St. Joseph's Sound.
We ran into a birding group.
A large group of birders.
Here's the bird they were spying.
The Pinellas Trail was nicely shaded.
Our destination
John's new shoes arrived last night. They have blue palm trees on them.

Last night's sunset walk in Stirling Park. We drove around in the golf cart waiting for the house to cool down. This is the third day with no AC, while we wait for our liner to dry inside our unit.
Yesterday, we rode to Publix to pick up some vegetables to go with our leftover bulgar, broccoli, and tomato dish. We cooked them quickly in a covered pan instead of turning on the oven to bake. The induction cooktop heats up and cools down quickly.
I made it to Weaver Park to exercise yesterday, stretching and weights.

Today's after exercising snack tray: nuts and fruit.
For dinner, we rode our bikes to Publix to pick up a sub. We didn't want to turn on the stove or microwave to reheat our leftovers.
Toby enjoyed the cool grass at Stirling Park on his after dinner walk tonight.
Our Toto bidet seat for our bathroom remodel arrived this afternoon, along with new toothbrush heads for our electric toothbrushes.
I unpacked the box to inspect the merchandise. It will be a while before it gets installed.

Everything looked okay. The new toilet arrives next week. I'm going to try and install the seat on the new toilet to make sure the hoses reach and everything fits. The installers can disconnect it if they need to in order to install the toilet. There are extension hoses available if the hose is not long enough for a skirted toilet. I'd rather find out ahead of time.
It has a soft-close lid. I will never have to hear the lid bang again. Yah! (We close the lid to keep Toby from drinking out of the toilet bowl. Our first two dogs never did that, but for some reason, Toby does whenever he gets the chance.)
The big excitement next week will be the arrival of our new, round tub.
