Old tire
New tire
Main Street Automotive installed two tires yesterday afternoon for $56, including tax.
Our remodelers came this morning to remove our toe kicks in preparation for floor removal on Monday.
He said they will probably have to redo them if the tile thickness is different. That's a pain because the dishwasher toe kick was a work of art. It covered this ugly black gap and blended in with the other toe kicks.
The roll of cardboard and tape are ready for them to apply to the cabinet fronts. He said he will come Monday morning and install it. That way, we can use our kitchen this weekend. He also wants to help the demo folks get started and instruct them how to demo the kitchen to avoid damaging appliances or cabinets. Our remodelers are taking good care of their (our) kitchen.
He also brought some dollies for the dresser removal; he and John were able to roll it into the sunroom.
The primary bedroom suite will be the most impacted space after the renovation. The floor will be all tile, new tub, shower, vanity, mirror, plumbing fixtures, toilet, and bathroom accessories.
I spent all afternoon looking for our bedroom ceiling fan. We got a call that the one I ordered is out of stock, so I had to start all over. I think I've settled on the one above. It's modern looking, powerful, white, and has a light. It has good reviews (mostly).
Mas Fina came Friday morning to cut the grass.
