Lots of rain, almost every day for a few minutes at least. Flowers are blooming and the grass is green.
Backyard flowers
More backyard flowers. We take no credit for any of them. They are all perennials, and Mas Fina does all of the pruning and mowing.
Our back two golf cart tires have worn unevenly, so we're looking into replacing them. Our neighbors jack up their cart and take the wheels to the tire store, but we're going to try another approach. John's going to call the tire stores that are within the golf cart zone and ask them if they can replace them for us, even if we have to bring the new tires with us. We can get replacements from Amazon in a few days. If this approach works, we can avoid the hassle and drive right up for service. Otherwise, we'll have to have a truck come pick up our cart and take it to places outside of the zone. Each tire is about $40. I watched a YouTube video about how to replace the tires yourself, but it requires special tools we don't have.
We made more progress on furniture moving.
This corner of the sunroom is for all our new bathroom fixtures, tub, toilet, etc. It can be accessed from the bedroom.
We've got a love seat, rug, a bed, mattresses, and dresser to go. We'll probably tackle the bed and dresser on Monday, and leave the love seat and rug for the last day before demo. We need a place to sit and watch TV and Toby needs a place to lounge.
We took advantage of the wide open floors to feed him in his Kong toy.
It's like a weeble wobble filled with kibble. He has to nose it around and paw it to tip it so it will dispense food. It takes concentration and skill. Good brain exercise.
We made another batch of squash casserole, but this time we added spinach.

Looking forward to the renovations.
