Entrance flooring, no grout or bullnose

The new tile is almost 1/4 inch thicker than our previous tile, so the cooktop needs adjusting to make it level with the countertop. We didn't notice until after it was installed.
The contractors were here before 8:00 to help get things back together. They were able to adjust the dishwasher so that it's flush with the cabinets again. They also were able to put the board in place at the bottom to cover the ugly dishwasher bottom. They will do the cabinet baseboards later.
The refrigerator needs a little adjustment, but it's okay for now.
The baseboard got installed behind the washer and dryer. This is about the only bit you can see!
The tilers are outdoing themselves on this wall. Here's the thing: it looks better in person. Our iPhone X cameras can't quite capture the variation in color and the depth and complexity of the colors.
The green spacers are temporary.
The tilers did some water proofing.
They stayed until after 6:00 p.m. working on the bathroom tile.
Photographs don't render the true beauty of the tile.
They tiled the shower floor. You can see the downward slope from right to left. No lip to the doorway which will be to the right. They lined up the tiles as if there no break.
This is the view from where the shower door will be.
The tilers will be back on Saturday to work on the shower walls and the sunroom floor, around 7:00 a.m. he said.
They prepared the floor with some white underlayer, made their marks to line up with the living room tile, and laid out their tiles. They even cut their first row of half tiles. They hope to be finished on Monday, but I don't think that includes the grout layer. He will probably be playing catch up.
I ordered hooks for bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. I decided against towel bars. They take up too much room. I like the way a towel looks on a hook. I also ordered a shelf for the shower and drawer pulls for the vanity. They will be arriving over the next couple of weeks from various sources.

Enjoyed these photos. I really like the bathroom hook idea. Agree with the look of using a hook. So updated! La dee da outdoor entry tile too. So neat. Looking great.
