Sunday

 

We used our new tree trimmer to trim the dead branches of the avocado tree in the side yard.

A lot of the top branches died in the last few years. Notice the tangerine in the photo above.

Oranges

Our neighborhood used to be an orange grove before developers started building houses here in the 60s. I suspect this tree is related to ones from that era.

We filled up a trash bin with limbs. We also trimmed dead branches from the magnolia in the front yard and some other trees in the side yard. They all look much better. 

We had a hearty lunch: chicken sandwich on pumpernickel with tangelos and apples on the side.
