Wall mud and texture folks came today.

The mud guy came this morning for the wallboard seams and the outlet boxes. After he was finished, I filled the nail holes in the baseboards.

I'll have to touch up the baseboards, but I think I'll wait until they are all installed; otherwise, I might get confused about what's been painted.

He patched the wallboard cutout for the tub drain connections.

And the old telephone boxes.

And cable outlets.

Mudded bathroom

It's looking good. He said the texture person would be by later this afternoon. That means we'll be able to paint this weekend as we wait for more baseboards.

This afternoon, the texture folks came. First they put down paper to catch the splatter.

The machine that puts out the texture is like a giant spit ball machine. That stuff goes everywhere. 

Hence, the little tents to catch debris splatter.

Mud and texture applied. These walls should be ready for primer tomorrow.
