The newly renovated house across the street, all decorated up.
The roofers arrived at 8:15 hoping to finish our roof. I took these pictures before they arrived of all the remaining work. One of the four corners above, northeast.
Missing drip edge trim on upper roof.
Partial edge trim against the wall above the skirt. Also missing the cover for the trim.
One of the four corners, northwest
Missing ridge vent at the top.
Four corner, southeast
Trim missing against the skirt wall. Missing trim at upper roof.
four corner, southwest
This spout has been added in lieu of the previous horizontal gutter that rested on top of the asphalt roof. Now, the roof itself will take the water to the lower gutter, making for less visual clutter.
The elbow has not been added on this side yet.
Missing ridge vent and seam covers above the garage and upper roof.
Our cord project waiting to be tamed.
Here's a listing photo of a house in our neighborhood we toured today for an open house with lots of boxes, conduit, and cables. It's easy to collect more and more over the years as technology and systems change.
The workers left at 5:30 and said they were not yet finished. It will take one more day. Here's what they did and what they have left to do:
The ridge vents at the roof peaks are all done.
All of the seam covers are done.
The drip edge trim on the north upper wall is complete, as is the complicated z clip for the skirt panels. A beautiful cover was installed over the clips.
Close up of the cover
The four corners really slowed them down because of the complicated angles. This one was especially complicated because of previous fixes.
This one is beautiful. It took hours to fabricate.
I'm not sure about this one. I will need to see it up close.
This one is in progress on the south side.
The south side needs the most work: drip edge, z clips, z clip cover, and at least one corner cover.
The upper gutter needs an elbow to send the water down the roof panel to the lower gutter.
The boots have been installed around the vents, but they need to put the vent covers on and spray them gray.
The north side is looking good.
It's like any project: the last 5% takes 25% of the time because of all the details.

Lots of details!!!!! Your roofers are doing a great job on ALL the details.
