Last shot of the day: the roofers made a lot of visible progress, completing the tower, finishing both skirts, some of the garage and most of the roof over the dining room. They left at 5:45 p.m., just before I took this picture.

Another early start this morning. By lunch the roofers had already made a lot of progress along the side of the garage.

They made progress to the left of the tower. The front and side yards look like a hurricane passed through.

It was a beautiful 75 degrees today. There were six roofers working as hard as they could.

This picture and the ones following were taken at the end of the day, just before sunset.

This side of the garage is finished.

All three sides of the pyramid were finished.

They completed the roof behind the pyramid and almost to the garage.

They finished the skirt on the south side.

And the skirt on the north side and this side of the garage.

They may be able to finish tomorrow (Thursday), but they have a lot of detail work to do with trim pieces along many of the edges, the ridge vents at the roof peaks, seam covers where the hip roof joins another plane, the corner enclosures where the skirt meets the roof, and the stack and vent coverings. Plus the roof above the front of the garage and behind it on the main structure.
