We took it easy today. We walked down to the Pinellas Trail and back early this morning. Then we took our bikes out to Honeymoon Island. Our plan was to park our bikes and walk the bike trail. We did half of it and headed home. We were tired and rain was predicted. But it never came. This line of birds perfectly illustrates our pensive day.

Tiny little flowers, smaller than a pencil eraser, make the prettiest ground cover on Honeymoon Island.
I love this picture. I sent it to my brother-in-law, the sailor and nature lover.
After lunch, we read and relaxed.
We did some research on how dog adoptions work at the various shelters. It's very strict. There's a long application, required references, previous vet information, fencing requirements, unannounced home inspection, etc.
I like the way Dee Dee chose us!
The glare obscures the message on this sign: "Fire The Liar." Just about every house on Nelson has a Biden sign, the only street in the neighborhood that is that lopsided. Only one sign for the Liar.
There has been a raft of Biden sign stealing. One of our neighbors warned that Trump supporters may take their sign, but they can't take away their vote.
