After a low-key day yesterday and 9 hours of sleep last night, we woke up rested and with lots of energy. So we headed out to the causeway on our bikes for our morning walk. We locked our bikes this side of the draw bridge and then walked to Honeymoon Island Park and then back. The skies were clear and it was 77 degrees when we began at 8:30 and 82 when we finished our walk.

After our walk, we hopped back on our bikes and rode out to the island. It was an extraordinarily beautiful day.
We made it home in time for lunch. Then we decided to get back on our bikes and head north on the Pinellas Trail to Palm Harbor to scout out our early voting location. In-person early voting in Florida begins Monday, Oct. 19. We plan to vote then, as early as possible, to lock in our vote.
We passed by the Suncoast Animal Rescue and made an inquiry. The woman we talked to said it would be best to make contact online, and they would get back to us. We are thinking it over.
After catching up on the news we rode our bikes to Stevenson Creek via downtown and the Pinellas Trail. Speaking of the news . . . Holy Cow! Is Trump completely nuts? Whose idea was it to put him on steroids, knowing the side effects are feelings of grandeur, aggressiveness, and paranoia? Really?
The conservative Republican New York Times columnist David Brooks had a good editorial today on the presidential race.
For dinner, we had John's spaghetti (not pictured, but really delicious!) and my salad.
