Saturday

This morning we made a quick trip to Publix to buy fruit for our fruit tray for tonight’s birthday party. Then we went for a walk on the causeway. It was 65 degrees with a 10 mph breeze, chilly in one direction but comfortable in the other.

Somebody thought it might be a good day to go sailing.

There was very little sun though. I think Jeff, my brother-in-law, might have enjoyed it.

John got this beautiful picture with the birds and surfer.

We woke up this morning to find this on the counter. Somebody forgot to “do the dishes” last night. That’s what we call disposing of the takeout boxes.

After lunch, we took Toby downtown to walk, sniff, and get socialized. It turns out there was another festival going on. Above and below are better pictures of Olde Bay’s new shade. This place used to be a fish market with just a few tables. Now, it’s a bonafide restaurant.

The skies cleared and the temperature warmed up to 70 degrees. Not bad.

Toby navigated these crowds beautifully with our help.

Bikes were everywhere!

Fastened to every fixed object.

Can you believe this?

Dunedin is an easy place to find something to do.

Interestingly, Dunedin doesn’t mess around when they block off a street: they use massive dump trucks at every access point.

Is there anything sweeter than this? Toby brought his new toy lamb to bed and then went to sleep while we watched TV last night. Tonight, he will be in his crate while we go to our birthday party.
